Just off the Pedestrian Pathway around Lake Ginninderra on the foreshore at John Knight Memorial Park is a small island connected via a Bridge. One of only two islands found on Lake Ginninderra, John Knight Island is the only island connected via a footbridge.
The Island is a great place to watch the sunset over Lake Ginninderra, whilst also admiring the modern Skyline. The local ducks and other birdlife are in close proximity from the Island’s Jetty and the seating provided.
