Canberra Centenary Trail

The Centenary Trail is a 145 kilometre self-guided, non-motorised loop trail for walkers and touring cyclists that showcases Canberra and takes users on a journey between urban and rural environments past iconic sites and hidden treasures.

The Centenary Trail is divided into daily sections, spaced for walkers and bike riders. Users are able to join or leave the trail in many locations.

Lake Ginninderra is connected to the Centenary Trail via Section 4 – Hall Village to Black Mountain. The trail starts at Ginninderra Creek in the north of Lake Ginninderra, opposite the Lawson Foreshore. It runs due south, crossing at Ginninderra Bridge, before following the Pedestrian Path towards John Knight Memorial Park, through the Belconnen Skate Park before heading up Eastern Valley Way (opposite Wayfarer Apartments), then left onto College Street towards Gossan Hill Nature Reserve with spectacular views back towards Lake Ginninderra.
