Ginninderra Drive crosses Ginninderra Creek near the spillway to the north of Diddams Close Park. The Ginninderra Creek Dam Wall was constructed in 1974.
The Dam Wall is the furtherest north-west edge of Lake Ginninderra. The Dam Wall connects the Pedestrian Path around the Lake and offers stunning views from the Western Foreshore towards the Belconnen Town Centre skyline in the south. The Dam Wall and Spillway Area are also used for Water Sports.
From the Dam Wall it is only a short (200m) walk to the Lake Ginninderra Weir on the other side of the Spillway and then onto the William Webb Reserve or the Parkland on the western edge of the lake.
