The Western Foreshore Park is accessible off Joynton Smith Drive and Macdermott Place on Lake Ginninderra. It is directly opposite Diddams Close Park on the western side of the Lake. The Park is an open hectare of tree-scape, lake frontage and bird life.
The Yerra Beach side of the Park includes the “Island in the Lake” in its peninsula as well as the heart pumping Flying Fox, the Learn to Ride Centre and the Spider Web climbing structure.
The Bargang Beach side includes a wonderful playground, BBQ and Picnic families, toilet amnesties and a Boat Ramp with ample nearby parking.
Western Foreshore Park is a peak location for Water Sports.
There are no Cafes or Eateries in the vicinity of Western Foreshore Park so its BYOD picnics and BBQs. To the north of the Park is the Ginninderra Creek Dam Wall and the Joynton Smith Drive Reserve to the south.
