Lake Ginninderra has a number of iconic man made structures passing over the water. On the northern edge, towards Ginninderra Creek, the dual lane bridge has a legal graffiti wall on the water’s edge. There are sweeping views to the Belconnen Town Centre and a very picturesque return from a Saturday morning Parkrun.
The dam wall between Diddams Close and Western Foreshore offers its own unique views including glimpses of Telstra Tower on Black Mountain, along with the skyscrapers of Belconnen.
The smaller wooden bridge at Eastern Valley Way Inlet, between Lake Ginninderra College and the Emu Bank Foreshore, is made from the original wooden beams of the old Tharwa Bridge near Tuggeranong.
