The only School on the shores of the lake, UC Senior Secondary College Lake Ginninderra is a public secondary college for students in Years 11 and 12. The College is located on Emu Bank, nestled between Eastern Valley Way Inlet, John Knight Memorial Park and the Wayfarer Apartment building.
“Lake Ginninderra College” is only metres from the water with its own Jetty and Boatshed. The Belconnen Skate Park, Aikman Drive Precinct and the University of Canberra Bruce Campus are also nearby. The College has publicly accessible Tennis Courts and Basketball Courts, the latter which has seen some of the biggest names of Australian Basketball been known to play.
